An environment contains multiple workspaces. As most users work on a limited number of projects, they only need access to the corresponding workspaces. Access to a workspace can be managed from the environment tabs Workspaces and Users.
When the goal is to give multiple users access to a workspace, it is best to do this using theWorkspaces. Otherwise, to give a user access to multiple workspaces use the Users page.
Manage workspace access from the perspective of a workspace*
- In the overview with workspace tiles, click on Environment administration.
- In the view Environment administration, click on the menu Workspaces.
- Click on the workspace.
- Click on the button next to User access. This will open a new dialog.
- Select users to grant or deny them access to the workspace.
- Click Update.
- Hover in the table User Access on the user in the column As. Click on the button to switch the user type between User and Power user.
Manage workspace access from the perspective of a user*
- In the overview with workspace tiles, click on Environment administration.
- In the view Environment administration, click on the menu Users.
- In the view Users, click on the user you want to change the access to workspaces.
- In the view of the user, for the table Workspace access, click on Edit.
- In the dialog Edit workspace access, select or deselect workspaces to change access.
- In the dialog Edit workspace access, click on Update.
- Hover in the table Workspace access on the workspace in the column As. Click on the button to switch the user type between User and Power user.
* In the environment, the administration role of your user must be set to administrator to use this feature.
