Quality rules offer an extra layer in your SE model to guarantee that all project management requirements are met. Users are informed about their homework to comply with those requirements without interfering with their activities.

Quality rules

In your project, quality can be assured by setting quality rules. Quality rules can be set for properties and relations. If a relation or property has quality rules, users are notified whenever they try to create or delete a value that would decrease the quality of the project.

Quality filter

The quality filter informs you about the quality of your project by checking whether your elements comply with the quality rules. When a project’s quality rule is violated, Relatics shows you an indicator in the Quality reminders button of a type element overview. A click on Quality reminders shows which elements do not comply with the quality rules, thus lowering the quality of your project output. Moreover, clicking the Quality reminders applies a filter to your overview, which filters all the elements that do not comply with quality rules. Click on All quality reminders to learn which quality rules are applied to the type element. You can now select a single rule and filter elements that do not comply with that specific rule.
