Properties for which the draft state has been enabled can be either in draft state or final state. Initially, all properties will start in the draft state and can be edited freely. Properties in draft state are recognized by the icon . When agreement has been reached on the value of the property you can set it to final state and the value cannot be edited. The draft state informs you that the information is still in progress. Finalized properties need first to be switched back to draft state in order to be changed.
Set to final state
- Click on the cell containing the value that is set to draft state.
- In the toolbox, click on Set to final state.
Note:
- While the property value is set to final state it cannot be edited. To be able to edit the property value again, the property value must first be set to draft state.
Set back to draft state and edit value
- Click on the cell containing the value that is set to final state.
- In the toolbox, click on the button Set to draft state.
- Add a comment in the textbox (e.g. with the reason for entering the property value).
- Click on OK.
- Edit the value.
Note:
- In the history view, the previous version of the property value can be found including the comment.
Enable feature *
- In the workspace menu, click on Type graphview.
- In the model, click on in the label of the type element name.
- Click on the name of the property.
- In the toolbox, click on Edit. As a result, the dialog Type property settings is opened.
- In the dialog Type property settings, on the tab Advanced, for the option Enable draft state, tick the checkbox.
