To exchange data between Relatics and an external application, an interface is needed that structures the data for sending or interpreting the data and stores it as elements. There are two types of interfaces: custom and dedicated.
Custom interface
Custom interfaces can be used to integrate any application that supports interfaces. These interfaces can be used to synchronize data with Relatics or to provide data to an external application. Synchronizing data can be done manually by the power user or automatically via the API. The supported formats are Excel, JSON, and XML.
Dedicated interface
For some external applications, Relatics offers dedicated application integrations. These integrations have an out-of-the-box implementation that only needs configuration to work. A dedicated application integration comes with extra features to enrich the integration.
