A type property is a model object that stores a single value. Examples include a ‘Title’ for the type element ‘Documents’, a ‘Result’ for the type element ‘Verifications’, and a ‘Score’ for the type element ‘Risks’.
Create a new type property*
- In the workspace menu, click on Type graphview.
- In the model, click on the type element to which a new type property should be added.
- In the toolbox, click on New type property. As a result, the dialog New type propety is opened.
- In the dialog New type property, enter the settings of the type property.
- Click on Create. As a result, the dialog is closed, and the new type property is created.
Update a type property*
- In the workspace menu, click on Type graphview.
- In the model, click on in the label of the type element name.
- Click on the name of the property.
- In the toolbox, click on Edit. As a result, the dialog Type property settings is opened.
- In the dialog Type property settings, update the settings of the type property.
- Click on Update. As a result, the dialog is closed, and the type property is updated.
Notes:
- Double-clicking the type property is another way to open the dialog Type property settings.
- As an alternative to the Type graphview, a type property can be updated using the detail view.
Delete a type property*
- In the workspace menu, click on Type graphview.
- In the model, click on in the label of the type element name.
- Click on the name of the property.
- In the toolbox, click on Delete.
- In the dialog Delete type property, click on Ok. As a result, the type property is deleted and is no longer shown in the workspace.
Note:
- As an alternative to the Type graphview, a type property can be deleted using the detail view.
- A type property cannot be undeleted. The property values stored in the elements are deleted together with the type property.
