A report allows you to easily generate a Microsoft Word file or PDF file that is automatically populated with data from a workspace. A predefined report template is used in which the structure and corporate style of the generated report are designed. Further, report syntax can be used in the predefined report template to automatically populate the generated Microsoft Word file or PDF file with model objects in either textual or tabular form.
Generate a report
- In the workspace menu, click on Reports.
- In the reports overview, hover the mouse over a report, and click on Generate report.
- In case the scope of the report is set to Specific, a dialog Generate report is presented. Select one or more elements for which you want to generate a dedicated report file, and click on Generate.
- Wait for the generated report file to be downloaded to your computer and open the file.
Notes:
- A report of which the Scope is set to All will present multiple elements of the corresponding type element. If the Scope of the report is set to Specific, the report will present only one element of the corresponding type element.
- The timestamp in the file name of a generated report reflects the UTC time of the device you are using.

- A report of which the Scope is set to All will present multiple elements of the corresponding type element. If the Scope of the report is set to Specific, the report will present only one element of the corresponding type element.
