The all elements view unconditionally shows all elements of a type, including the required properties and relations needed to identify each element. The structure of this view is reused throughout the workspace in all places where these elements are presented, such as in the selection dialog or in the detail view of another element.

Update all elements view^*

Editing the all elements view works similarly to modifying and storing a use case. The following constraints apply to the all elements view:

• Only properties, inner elements, and single relations can be saved in the table on the all elements view. On the other hand, multi-relations are not allowed to be saved in the all elements view. As a result, the all elements view will always have a simple structure making it ideal for users to identify and recognize elements in various places in the workspace.
• Filters cannot be saved in the table of the all elements view. The idea is that you always have the guarantee that all elements can be found in the table. The my view and use case tabs are the best solutions to set up tables with one or more filters applied by default.

Notes:

• Be careful not to present too many properties, inner elements, and single relations in the all elements view, given the extensive reuse of the view in other places in the workspace. Please consider use cases for more advanced purposes.
• Multi-relations are not allowed to be selected in the model selector of the all elements view.
