By default, standard elements in a table are sorted by ID. In a table, you have the option to manually customize the position of standard elements relative to other standard elements. For example, to cluster standard elements according to certain criteria that are not part of the available properties.
Change the position of a standard element in a table
- In the overview, click on the view All elements.
- In the all elements view, select an element by clicking on the icon.
- In the toolbox, click on Move up or Move down to change the position of the element relative to other elements.
Note:
- If you don’t want to permanently store the position of an element relative to other elements it is better to sort the element based on a property.
Enable feature*
- In the workspace menu, click on Type graphview.
- In the model, click on the type element.
- In the toolbox, click on Edit. As a result, the dialog Type element settings is opened.
- In the dialog Type element settings, on the tab Advanced, make sure the Configuration is set to Standard.
- In the dialog Type element settings, on the tab Advanced, tick the checkbox for Enable positioning.
* In the workspace, the user type of your user must be set to power user to enable this feature.
