By default, dates in Relatics are presented in the format yyyy-mm-dd. Depending on local standards of your project, you might want to consider using another date format. By setting the date format, you can determine how properties with a data type Date and system dates are presented in the Workspace.

Set the date format for a single Workspace ^*

1. In the Workspace menu, click on  Workspace settings.
2. In the view Workspace settings, click on the menu General settings.
3. In the table Workspace settings, click on Edit.
4. In the dialog Edit time zone & date format, for the field Date format, select the desired date format.

Set the default date format for newly created Workspaces ^**

1. In the overview presenting all the Workspaces, click on  Environment administration.
2. In the view Environment administration, click on the menu  General settings.
3. In the table Workspace defaults, click on Edit.
4. In the dialog Edit, for the field Workspace default date format, select the default date format for newly created Workspaces. For example, choose the date format that corresponds with the standard date format of the corporate headquarters or where most of the projects are located.

* In the workspace, the user type of your user must be set to power user to enable this feature.
