In your project, the quality of the data can be assured by setting quality rules. For middle elements with quality rules, users are notified when an edit does not meet the quality rules.
Quality rule type | Explanation |
---|---|
Existence of middle element required for each relation of |
This quality rule is bound to a type relation. It checks that a middle element exists for every relation between a target and an origin element. For example, for every requirement that applies to an object the rule checks if a verification is present. |
Notes:
- This quality rule uses the relation that originates from the origin type element with as to-element the target type element.
- Quality reminders set on the middle type element are visible in the overview of its origin type element. Quality reminders set on type properties or type relations of a middle element are visible in de overview of the middle element.
- Quality reminders are given if there is a relation between the origin and target element but no middle element.
- To create a middle element with adequate quality assurance, another quality rule of the circular dependency type can be used on the relations between the middle element and the target and origin element. For verifications specifically, this can ensure that only objects can be selected that are related to requirements.
