For creating and updating a type relation, various settings can be configured. Below all the settings of the dialog Type relation settings are explained.
General settings for a type relation
Setting | Explanation |

Range | Select a value:

To type element | Select the type element to which the relation should be established. When the Range field is configured as Collection, select between two to five elements. |
Criteria for allowed To elements | Set one or more quality criteria on the relation. Click an existing criteria or the chip ‘Add creterion’ to open a new dialog to complete the configuration.

Role | Enter a meaningful name that describes the relation originating from the From element to the To element. |
Reverse role | Enter a meaningful name that describes the relation originating from the To element to the From element. |

Data ownership in | The data ownership in determines whether the type relation is owned by the workspace or that ownership of the type relation lies in another application:

[Role name] | The role determines if a user with the corresponding role is allowed to edit or create the corresponding type relation. |
