Workspaces can be exchanged between Relatics environments. A new workspace can be created based on a complete copy of an exported workspace. For example, to quick start a project based on the model and data of a workspace that originates from another Relatics environment.
Note:
- The software version of both environments must be the same to use the exchange functionality.
Download the workspace from another environment *
Before creating the new workspace, you need to download the desired workspace.
- In the overview with workspaces, click on Environment administration.
- In the view Environment administration, click on the menu Workspaces.
- Hover over the row of the workspace that you want to download.
- Click on Download at the end of the row. This results in a new dialog.
- Click on Download to start the download.
Upload the workspace into your environment *
- In the overview with workspaces, click on Environment administration.
- In the view Environment administration, click on the menu Workspaces.
- Click on the button New workspace. This results in a new dialog.
- Enter the desired name in the field Name.
- Click Setup and select From RCS file.
- Click Upload file and select the desired *.rcs.
- Click Create. The workspace is created, and the workspace settings page opens.
- Grant access to the newly created workspace.
* In the environment, the administration role of your user must be set to administrator to use this feature.
