In a workspace, it is possible to set a time zone corresponding to the time zone where the project is based. For all the users, the dates presented in Relatics are corrected according to their time zone relative to the project time zone. In this way, all users can correctly interpret a date relative to the time zone of the location where the project is based.
Work with global and local time zones
Regardless of where your project is based, Relatics stores all dates according to the UTC standard. Based on your device’s settings, it is interpreted from which UTC time zone you use Relatics. As a result, Relatics will show you the dates according to that time zone. In day-to-day communication, agreements may be made based on dates valid for the local time zone where the project is based (e.g. meeting a deadline for an activity or a permit). In the history of an element, for each system date presented in your personal time zone, you can hover your mouse over a globe icon to see the corresponding date and timezone of the location where the project is based.
Note:
- The globe icon is only shown when the time zone you are working from differs from the time zone set for the workspace.
