25 years of INCOSE in The Netherlands

On September 23, 2021, the Dutch chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering, INCOSE, has celebrated its 25th anniversary. It was celebrated in style with a successful and well attended one day conference, reflecting on the successes and learnings of recent years, the current “State of the Art” and the goals that INCOSE Netherlands, Jong INCOSE Netherlands and INCOSE International have set themselves for the next 15 years.

INCOSE

Systems Engineering is an integral and structured approach for the realization of successful systems. Systems Engineers are often employed in the design of complex systems such as aircraft, trains, cars, software, defense components and infrastructure. The realization that Systems Engineering has a much broader field of application and can be useful for all kinds of systems – including complex processes and organizations – was the reason to set up INCOSE. INCOSE Netherlands is part of INCOSE International. In the Netherlands, INCOSE has more than 400 member organizations.

As a reference for Systems Engineering, INCOSE Nederland aims to promote collaboration by disseminating and sharing knowledge. And as the leading Software application for Model-Based Systems Engineering for Construction Projects, Relatics is a strong supporter of INCOSE and present as Gold Sponsor of the conference.
